Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino Chief Executive Officer
Alexandra is an industrial and interaction designer. She attended the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea where she met the other founders of Tinker.it!. She has been involved in projects for clients such as Nokia, Motorola, Droog design, Thinglink, Jaiku, Blast Radius, fo.am and Blyk bringing creative and strategic leadership to multi-disciplinary teams.
She is an active speaker on the next generation of technology-aided product design and heads Tinker.it!'s operations from London.

Massimo Banzi Chief Technology Officer
Massimo Banzi is the co-founder of the Arduino project and has worked for clients such as: Prada, Artemide, Persol, Whirlpool, V&A Museum and Adidas.
He spent 4 years at the Interaction Design Institue Ivrea as Associate Professor. Massimo has taught workshops and has been a guest speaker at institutions like: Architectural Association - London, Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Basel, Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd, FH Potsdam, Domus Academy, Medialab Madrid, Escola Superior de Disseny Barcelona, ARS Electronica Linz, Mediamatic Amsterdam, Doors of Perception Amsterdam.
Before joining IDII he was CTO for the Seat Ventures incubator. He spent many years working as a software architect,both in Milan and London, on projects for clients like Italia Online, Sapient, Labour Party, BT, MCI WorldCom, SmithKlineBeecham, Storagetek, BSkyB and boo.com.

Brock Craft, PhD Senior Interaction Designer
Brock is an Interaction Designer, artist, and specialist in Information Visualization. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from University College London, and a Masters in HCI from DePaul University in Chicago. He has worked as a consultant on projects for Samsung, Honeywell, and Johnson Controls. More recently, he has done research for the DTI (now DBERR) and BECTA. He has taught Master's level courses in Human-Computer Interaction in the US and at the UCL Interaction Centre.
Brock works as a Senior Interaction Designer at Tinker and is a Design Researcher in Educational Technology at the London Knowledge Lab. His artwork won the Graduate Research Images awards at UCL for 2005-2007 and has been featured at Dorkbot London.

Peter Knight Senior Engineer
Peter is an electronic engineer and software engineer, specialising in embedded systems. After building his first radio at the age of eight, Peter discovered microcontrollers in 1992 and has been working with them ever since. Since graduating from University of Bradford, he has worked on consumer and industrial projects for Siemens, Lockheed Martin, Bayer, Cranfield University, TRW, Smiths Industries and Danfoss.
Peter works for Tinker as Senior Engineer supporting the development of new products, bespoke electronic solutions and providing technical support.

Daniel Soltis Interaction Designer
Daniel Soltis is an Interaction Designer and jack of all trades. He recently graduated from New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program, where he focused on physical computing, large-scale interfaces, and social and cognitive aspects of games. He has presented games at the 2008 ACM SIGGRAPH Video Game Symposium and the 2008 Come Out and Play festival. Daniel's prior work life touched on a number of fields—among other things, he has written medical journal articles, edited science encyclopedias, drawn far too many diagrams in Illustrator, organized university students around environmental issues, and taught 12-year-olds.

Nick Weldin Head of Education & Training
Nick had many jobs including pyrotechnician, for companies like Theatre of Fire and Le Maitre, he helped set fire to the Fourth Bridge for its centenary celebrations. He ran an adventure playground for disabled children for Kidsactive and set up a project in the London borough of Westminster developing multimedia work with people with profound learning difficulties and the people who support them, and has played around with electronics since his teenage years.
He also works at the Rix Centre based at the University of East London developing multimedia work with people with profound learning difficulties.
Nick runs many of the Tinker.it! workshops in London and further afield, including Reboot 10 in Copenhagen.

Georgina Voss Project Management
Georgina Voss does a lot of things. She holds a PhD in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Sussex, which examined technological innovation in the North American online adult entertainment industry. She has also variously been a technology journalist, an ethnographer, and a comic shop assistant; and has lectured on technology and business ethics, outlaw innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Georgina works as a Project Manager for Tinker.it, and is also a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Research in Innovation Management (CENTRIM) at the University of Brighton. She has worked with bodies including MIT, NESTA, the Department of Health, WiredSussex and SEEDA, on projects around user-centred innovation and design, science and technology policy, the history of the UK wireless sector, and the dynamics of the creative industries.
